Yeah i know buissy month all of the sudden here
this sketch took me two weeks to compleet as it is now i never ever had so much trouble drawing hair and his cape they really suck big time but heres the result quit worth trying so hard.
uhm actually this image is a contest entry i decided to try and participate in a Full Metal Alchemist contest here in the netherlands. Actually i dont know what you can win i thought it was fun if i got my image printed in a magazine
uhm okay contest conditions:
* Draw a FMA character while non active
* Make use of a real live surrounding and a background
* Use any material you like
* The character is not allowed to be speaking or doing some major fighting

well i guess those where the critics so i thought of Edward (love the show and i always wanted to try to draw him ^_^)
in sleeping mode. mostly he is buissy talking your ears of getting angry study or eating i never really see him sleep often so i thought he might get tired once in a while while studying or so or in my care writing a letter.
as refrence material i used 3 different images that i found on global fma sites. the main picture i use is edward sleeping like he does in my image on the ground somewhere in the grass i thought it was fun using an image of a desk where he crashed while writing. so the two other images are a library anime pic from fma ofcourse and a pen think i got that one from a compleet other image oh well...
as for the 2 squares on the desk there suppost to be photografes but ehm im not really good in drawing small things or tiny objects so i got them a bit to big and the second picture it was to smal to draw anything in.
oh yeah ehm the first photo is supposed to be ed and huge but well they didnt turn out as i hoped they would if you cant tell who they are then now you know
anyway have fun i need to color it and mail it now if i want to enter it so bye bye
